Shabnam Khanideh, DMD
Dr. Khanideh graduated with a degree of biology from UC Irvine. Her interest in healthcare and attention to detail drew her to dentistry. She chose Boston University School of Dentistry, which has the distinction of offering state-of-the-art technology and innovation. She shined during her clinical years with her excellent work and exceptional chair-side manner. After graduation, her interest in esthetic and cosmetic dentistry attracted her to continuing her education in a residency at the renowned Los Angeles Institute and the prestigious Spear Education Center.
Dr. Khanideh has an unparalleled dedication to make patients feel at ease during dental visits. She achieves this by building a personal relationship with each patient and treating them as if they were her family. Her belief is that a healthy mouth, a healthy body and a healthy mind are all intertwined and make a person beautiful, inside and out.
Dr. Khanideh and Dr. Pouyan have been married since 2010 and they have a little girl name Ava.
They both enjoy outdoor activities with her.
Mehra Pouyan, DDS
Dr. Pouyan received his bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from UCLA. He went on to receive Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the prestigious New York University School of Dentistry where he finished a two-year Faculty Practice Honors Program.
He then completed a residency at Columbia University and St. Luke's Hospital (NYC) with focus on dentistry under general anesthesia on adults, children, medically compromised and disabled patients. He followed that with another residency program at the Veterans Hospital in Sepulveda, CA where he served as chief resident with emphasis on root canals, oral surgery and implant procedures.
He has incorporated this advanced education along with his caring personality into his delivery methods of dentistry, guaranteeing a safe, pain and stress-free environment during each and every visit. He makes going to the dentist fun and exciting with his friendly and compassionate nature.
